Mail Theft

01/23/2023

Please be advised that deputies have responded to complaints of stolen mail in the past several days from residences located northeast of Flippin near the Fairview community as well as Marion County 7023 in Flippin. Deputies have taken reports of stolen mail and have also recovered mail that had not yet been reported as stolen.

A "small black vehicle with a hatch-back" may have been seen in the area of one of the thefts. I would like to ask residents to report any suspicious activity or vehicles you may encounter in your community that could be involved in the thefts. As a safety measure, residents may want to sign up for the U.S. Postal Service's "Informed Delivery" service online at www.usps.comm in order to better track the mail being delivered to your home. Our Investigators will be notifying U.S. Postal Inspectors of these thefts.

If you have any information related to these thefts, I encourage you to contact our office at 870.449.4236 or submit information here on our website. Thank you for your help in keeping our communities safe!
