Investigators continue their work on the investigation of a fatal shooting incident that occurred on October 29, 2023, in the Oakland Community, that claimed the life of twenty-seven (27) year old HAISLEY MACK. Deputies initially responded to the residence located at 1093 Marion County Road 124 after receiving a 911 call reporting the shooting. MACK was transported from the scene and was later pronounced dead at Baxter Health in Mountain Home. The body was transferred to the Baxter County Coroner's Office and later submitted to the Medical Examiner's Section of the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for an autopsy, to determine the cause and manner of death. Investigators processed the shooting scene, conducted several interviews, consulted with the State Medical Examiner, and have submitted several evidence items to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for analysis.

Once completed, the case investigation file will be submitted to the Fourteenth Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney for review.
